Hi Parents,
What a busy/fun week we just had! Field trips galore. I have to say that I'm a tried teacher today! This next week will be a little quieter. However, we do have Science Fair on Wednesday. We're decided to try something new this year. Instead of doing a group experiment, Mrs. Thiessen has organized the students into smaller groups. They have worked very hard on the experiments, and we're all excited for Wednesday. Our students will be presenting from 1:00-2:00, with an evening open house (5:30-7:30). Please feel free to come and see what your child's been up to these past few weeks in science.
This coming Thursday is our last day with Jenna, our guest student from China. I thought it would be nice to give her something to remember us by. My thought is that I'd send home an index card on Monday with each student. On this card they're to write a memory they have of Jenna or something they appreciated about her. These cards would be placed in a photo album along with pictures from our class. If you could return the index card by Wednesday, that would be great!
Lastly, I wanted to remind you that April 10th we'll be having our Elementary Student-led Conferences. A schedule for the conferences will be placed on the parent board (just inside the door) after Spring Break.
Have a great week,
Mrs. Kullman
