Weekly Update Oct 22-26th

Hello Parents,

   I just wanted to start out by thanking for all those parents I had the privilege of meeting with on Thursday night. It was so great to share with you what we've been up to in grade three. You all have very special kids, and I love spending my days with them!

  Wednesday's field trip to Granville Island was a huge success! I had the students write about this experience the next day. Here are some the their favourite moments;

"I liked when Janet Wilson said that kids can do anything adults can do."

"My favourite part of the day was playing in the park."

"I liked when Janet Wilson brought kids from her book up on stage. The boy who raised money for Japan was awesome."

 What I loved about Janet Wilson was that she got our kids excited about helping make a difference in our communities and the world. I've attached some links to videos from her book.
